Greetings! I hope this note finds you well and staying warm as the days grow shorter. It has been wonderfully full here at Canopy. If you walked into our office today, you would see clients coming and going, staff supporting families in multiple languages, children laughing in the hallway, and the steady rhythm of a community growing stronger each day. Earlier this month, Joanna Krause shared an important update on recent federal policy changes in our newsletter. I am grateful for her clarity and leadership as we continue adapting our work to meet the needs of new neighbors every single day.

I also want to express my heartfelt thanks to the many organizations that invited us to speak about Canopy’s work across Northwest Arkansas. Every invitation reminds me how deeply this community cares about welcoming new neighbors. Your support makes this shared work possible.

Good News Spotlight

We recently celebrated the opening of BEK Restaurant in Rogers, a beautiful milestone for the family and for our community. As someone who grew up in Afghanistan and knows Afghan food well, I can say with confidence that their Uzbek Pilav was perfect. I was very well fed that day.

Even more exciting, another one of our clients, who is now graduating from our Entrepreneurship Program, is preparing to open a food truck in Fayetteville soon. I look forward to sharing that celebration with you.
